Nadca and 3D print
Nadca has released its new publication No. 550 on \”Tooling Certification for Die Casting, Die components fabricated by Additive Manufacturing\”. The expectation was the specification of AM technologies applied to parts of die casting dies, similar to Nadca 207, with recommendations for the selection of the printing method, printing parameters, for the selection of powder materials and post processes necessary to maximize the life of the parts in terms of thermal fatigue, including testing the printing result . The content of this specification and its impact on the production of die casting molds is discussed in the lecture.
